I have been working on getting the playroom done.. Not moving to fast though lol... I got the bottom of the chalk board almost done.. i ran out of domino's lol

Scentsy Party

So my party was so great!! I really did not expect that many people to show up but I'm so glad they did.. So this was my day.. I woke up at 6:30 a.m to go up to the hospital to be with Hunter before he had his surgery.. They took him at 7:30 but the doctor didn't get there until 8:30 so they got done with him at like 9:30 or 10ish.. Well i was going to go home and take a nap but my phone wouldn't quit ringing and then Scott got home with Drake and we had to go back to Odessa and pick up the dogs from the groomers.. So that took until 2 or so then i went and picked up my mom and we were going to go see if Hunter was awake then i was going to go to the store to get my veggies for the party.. WELL we stayed at the hospital a while and the doctor came in and looked at Hunter and said he could go home and we told Hunter we were going to go to the store and we would be back and when we passed the nurses station she said she was about to take his iv out and he could leave SO we waited for him and took all of his stuff down and we left the hospital.. THEN Hunter wanted to go to the Ford House to get his paycheck (let me tell you I'm in my pj's) so i went in and got his check ( oh and my pj's are black with white dots) and we had to wait for him to talk to someone.. THEN we took Hunter home and he was hungry so i made him some soup and made sure he was OK.. By now it was already 5:00.. So i finally got to the store and got my veggies (still in my pj's), checked out and got in my car.. THEN i remembered i needed sour cream for the dip... SO i had to go back into the store and get sour cream.. I took my mom and dropped her off at her house and went home.. 5:30 Christy got here to start setting up and i went to pick up B from her house.. WELL i went over to her house on SW 3rd and i call and tell her I'm there and she says OK that she would be out there in a Min and I'm waiting and waiting an she calls and tells me shes over at her moms house over on Bronstad right down the street from my house.. SO i drive all the way back over there and get her.. I get home and now its 6:00 and I still haven't even gotten a shower and I'm STILL in my pj's. So i get in the shower (fastest shower i have ever taken) and get out and do my makeup real quick and while my hair was in a towel i went and washed the veggies and let them dry while i went and dyed my hair then BB put it in a bump for me and it looked SUPER cute and i got the veggies cut and put on the tray and set out JUST IN TIME.. My Nana and aunt Julie were the first to show up then everyone got here and I had SUCH a good time.. And Monday I get to order all of my stuff and I'm SUPER excited!! And that was my day and my feet hurt!! LOL

FINALLY!!!! I finished the drawings on the walls in the playroom!! So now i have to get the corner pieces for the chalk and domino's for the bottom of the chalk board... Slowly but surely its getting done

New Idea for the Playroom

So i was laying in bed last night tossing and turning...

When I thought of an idea for the playroom (It was like one of those Windows 7 commercials)..

What if i built diamond shaped bookshelves...

Painted them that color (see the arrow???)..

And put them up there (once again the arrow lol)

to make them look like there coming out of the wall...And then put all of Drakes books in his playroom and as he gets older and we buy more books just build more shelves

A green mothers day

He was so cute!!!

So i got an oak tree for mothers day.. most people would be like that's kind of weird but the way Scott told me why was so cute.. This is what he said... It started out "Drake got you an oak tree for mothers day" I said "aww that's cute" he said "yeah i asked him what we should get you for mothers day and hes like i don't know and i said what about a picture with finger paint and drake said no because all i can do it wave" I thought that was funny then Scott said "i told drake what about a tree for the front yard and drake said that's a good idea" well Scott wanted a certain type of tree and drake said " no mom likes oak trees because she wants a big tree" Let me remind those of you who don't know Drake is only 10 months old lol.. Well then Scott said that Drake said " yeah and mom has to take care of it like she takes care of me so it grows up big and strong like i am.. We can grow up together" I thought that was the sweetest thing.. So on mothers day we were all out in the front yard.. Drake was in his playpen and me Scott were planting my tree.. So we dug a hole and got all the grass out that we could then got a pole and tied it to the pole so it grows straight up.. It was a pretty day so we sat outside with Drake and let him play in the grass.. He didn't like it that much.. I think it might have hurt his feet but in the process of figuring that out he stood up for a good 30 sec. by himself.. I was so happy.. Oh and i told Scott for fathers day i was going to get him a psychiatrist because if him and drake are having those long conversations somethings wrong LOL.. And that was about the extent of my first mothers day..

FYI: I'm going to try and start putting pics in every blog because i got my phone back and it takes really good pics.. and I'm still figuring this all out and i just found where i see my comments LOL!!! So for my 2 favorite cousins in the world I'm not ignoring you i just didn't know you had left comments LOL!!!

UTPB

I went to talk to UTPB today and i got all my papers.. I had to go to the high school first to get my transcript so i woke up at 7:00 so i could be ready by 8... Well i didnt get dont getting ready until 9 lol..

So i went up to the high school and i went into the office and told them i needed my transcript and they asked my name.. I told them Sumer Hill and they asked did you use to be Sumer Emfinger.. i was like yes ma'am lol.. They remembered me and had my file already out.. In my permanent file they had my elementary school pics!! i was so cute lol..

Anyways.. So i went to Odessa and i walked into a building and already i was lost.. so i waited until i saw someone who looked like a teacher and asked them where to go and she was really nice and took me to the financial aid and the place to get the papers for grants.. They wernt so nice in those offices so i went across the hall and talked to a really nice lady and asked her if she could see if smeone had time to give a tour.. She called and a girl came down and walked around with me and showed me EVERYWHERE!!

I really like the school.. I have the papers done and i need to take them back.. Hope i get in!

Hunter getting lost

Hunter went to pick up a car in Kansas the other day.. i talked to him all day when he went up here and i told him i would cal him when i woke up the next day.. That next day I tried to call him.. and call... and call.. you get the picture.. well he wouldn't answer so i started calling EVERYONE to see if he had talked to anyone.. He had only talked to someone that morning.. Thats when my mind started racing.. was he in jail? did he have a wreck? all day i worried!! i was so scared something had happened and no one had any idea where in Oklahoma he was.. So i started calling and calling and had everyone in the family calling.. No one could get a hold of him.. Well at about 11:00 that night Megan called me and told me he was in Amarillo and he would be home at 2:00 or so.. At 4:00 he showed up and i opened the door and i asked him what happened to his phone and he told me it just crashed.. Thats when i gave him a little history lesson i told him "in 1889 a British man named William Gray invented this thing called the pay phone and that he should give it a try sometime LOL... And thats that story..
